Mr. Porreca represented a client in Parsippany Municipal Court who was charged with a third violation of New Jersey'scell phone statute. A third violation carries three points, a fine of between $600-800 and a 90 days suspension of your drivers license.

Mr. Porreca discussed the case with the municipal prosecutor and was able to convince her to downgrade the original charge to a violation of NJSA 39:4-97.2, "unsafe driving", which carries NO points and a fine.
