Harassment Charges Dismissed

Mr. Porreca represented a defendant in Scotch Plains Municipal Court charged with Harassment under N.J.S.A. 2C:33-4(c). This defendant, an elderly gentleman, who was diagnosed with Dementia, was alleged to have urinated on his neighbor’s lawn while screaming and using foul language. After presenting medical evidence of the defendant’s condition to the prosecutor, all charges were dismissed and the defendant’s record was immediately expunged.
